ACM Staffers Experience Interactive Continuing Education at February CAI Breakfast Seminar

Chesapeake Chapter Community Associations Institute (CAI), the education arm for our industry Board members and managers, kicked off its 2016 Breakfast Seminar season today with an interactive roundtable discussion.  Several ACM staff members attended along with association Board members and varied contractors from all over the region.

Twelve roundtables, each with a different industry topic were the featured main event this morning.  Topics included three different Legal areas, Contractors and Services such as Landscaping, Pool Management, Reserve/Transition Studies, Restoration, Fire/Security/Alarm and Insurance, as well as areas of interest such as Green Initiatives and Social Media.  Attendees had three 25-minute opportunities for a face-to-face roundtable discussion with experts to ask them questions about their area of expertise.  Guests could choose their three topics/tables to visit, which offered a tailored, hands-on learning experience.

And of course, what Breakfast Seminar would be complete without giveaway door prizes?  ACM Community Managers Alan Mangen (right) and Christian Klarner (left) were both among the lucky winners.

Three more Breakfast Seminars will be held this season in March, April and May, providing continuing education opportunities for managers, contractors and Board members alike.
